Frank Marafiote

As the founder and owner of Emerge Communications, Frank Marafiote serves as an advisor, counselor, and coach to small business owners, executives, and entrepreneurs who need help defining and resolving marketing and other business issues that are keeping them from achieving their goals.

In addition to advisory and coaching services, through Emerge Communications Frank writes marketing plans, provides writing, editing, and public relations services, and also performs business research and report writing. One of his areas of specialization is internal marketing and HR communications.

Thanks to an extensive network of marketing and public relations talent, Frank is able to bring on board for client projects writers, graphic designers, web specialists, and others to serve the creative needs of his clients.

To stay current in his field and to be challenged by students who expect excellence in the classroom and online, Frank teaches graduate and undergraduate marketing and advertising courses at Southern New Hampshire University.

He started his consulting practice in 1991.

A certified community mediator, Frank does volunteer parent-child mediation for the Belknap County Youth Services Bureau and served on the Board of Directors (2005 – 2008) for the New Hampshire Conflict Resolution Association.

He started flying airplanes when he was still in high school and has been a licensed pilot for most of his adult life. When he is not behind the controls of a real airplane, he flies his computer! He has been a Flight Simulator addict since the first version was released in 1980.

Frank’s other addiction is writing. In addition to writing for his business web sites and blogs, he writes frequently about politics and social issues.

He lives in Portland, Maine.
